Hey everyone!! I’m Andrew, a husband, father, Colorado native and a recovering alcoholic.
I started my journey to sobriety back in 2017; through multiple attempts, many lessons learned and very low lows, I was able to find my footing in my recovery journey in 2019. Since then, I have embraced my past, found strength in the failures, made a commitment to advocate for this community and help other struggling addicts. Through my personal experience I know first-hand how tough the journey can be. It can be lonely, overwhelming and seemingly impossible. I have good news, it’s not! However, I know it can be hard; knowing where to start, who to turn to and how to find the help you need can be daunting.
That’s why I started Step One Recovery Resources, Colorado’s only full-service recovery directory. A space where you don’t have to navigate the endless search results, where you don’t have to navigate websites for the information you need. We have built a space where you can easily find the information you need quickly.
I hope that this space can be one that makes your journey a little easier, a little less lonely and makes that first day or 10th year more manageable.

Authenticity is at the heart of everything we do. We show up as real people with real stories, believing that healing starts when we stop pretending and start being honest — with ourselves and with others.
Connection is what holds recovery together. We believe no one gets sober alone, and we’re here to foster relationships — between individuals, families, and communities — that make lasting recovery possible.
Clarity means cutting through the noise. We provide honest, straightforward information to help people navigate recovery with confidence — no confusion, no hidden agendas, just clear steps forward.
Support is more than a resource — it’s a commitment. We walk alongside those we serve with compassion, consistency, and hope, offering guidance and encouragement every step of the way.
