Subscription Terms of Service

This agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between Step One Recovery Resources LLC (“Company”) and the business subscribing to list on the Step One Recovery Resources directory (“Subscriber”). By creating an account or subscribing to the online directory listing service (“Service”), Subscriber agrees to be bound by this Agreement, our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy.

1. Subscription Service

1.1 Description of Services. The Company provides a platform for Colorado recovery and mental health businesses to list their services and for people to find recovery-related services.

1.2 No Guarantee of Leads or Inquiries. The Company does not guarantee that listing your business will result in leads, inquiries, or clients. Results vary based on many factors, including demand, the completeness of your listing, and user behavior.

1.3 Listing Review. New listings are reviewed by the Company before they are published. The Company may decline, edit for clarity, hide, or remove any listing that is inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or outside the scope of the directory. Once a listing is approved, Subscriber’s later edits publish right away, and the Company may review them afterward.

1.4 Plans and Term. Subscriptions are offered at $15 per month or $150 per year, billed in advance. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.

2. Subscriber Obligations

2.1 Accurate Information. Subscriber agrees to provide accurate and complete information, including services, pricing, insurance, licensing, and contact details, and to keep it up to date.

2.2 Use of Service. Subscriber shall use the Service only for its intended purpose and shall not disrupt the Service or infringe the rights of others.

2.3 Account Security. Subscriber shall keep login credentials confidential and is responsible for activity under its account.

2.4 Content License. Subscriber grants the Company permission to display the logos, photos, brochures, and text Subscriber uploads, for the purpose of operating and promoting the directory.

3. Payment and Fees

3.1 Billing. Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriber must keep a valid payment method on file.

3.2 Failed or Lapsed Payment. If a subscription lapses or payment fails, the listing will be hidden from the directory until the subscription is active again.

4. Cancellation and Refunds

4.1 Cancellation by Subscriber. Subscriber may cancel at any time from its account (through the Stripe customer portal) or by emailing info@steponerecovery.org. The listing remains visible through the end of the paid billing period.

4.2 Refunds. Payments are non-refundable, including for the unused portion of a billing period, unless required by law.

4.3 Termination by Company. The Company may suspend or terminate the Service or a listing for violation of this Agreement or the Terms of Service.

5. Intellectual Property

The Company retains all rights in the Service and the website. Subscriber retains ownership of the content it uploads.

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1 Disclaimer. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.

6.2 Limitation. The Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Service. The Company’s total liability is limited to the fees Subscriber paid in the twelve months before the claim.

7. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Colorado.

8. Changes and Entire Agreement

The Company may update this Agreement by posting a new version on this page. Continued use of the Service after an update means Subscriber accepts it. This Agreement, together with the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, is the entire agreement between the parties about the Service.
